Olive trees are an important part of agriculture and culture in the Rueda region, a tradition the Belondrade family has taken a great interest in. The olive trees which contribute to this oil are scattered across different plots around the winery, and include the manzanilla, arbequina, changlot real and, predominantly, picual varieties. Cold, mechanical extraction results in a pure, characterful oil which is unfiltered, hence the haze which forms at low temperatures. A delicious finishing-oil. (JH 22/03/24)
