John Livingstone-Learmonth
attractive yellow; the nose carries a discreet honeysuckle, floral, rather winsome tone, a little notch of lemon peel and aniseed clarity, is a promising start, suggests elegance. The palate serves indeed an en finesse Hermitage blanc, with really precise freshness and a spearmint tone along the second half. Its fruit is crystalline, even delicate, shows peach with wild white strawberry. There is late gas pep murmuring away. From 2025, say. 2043-45 4.5 stars
