John Livingstone-Learmonth
(cask) full, bright red; the bouquet has a neat filling of blackberry-raspberry fruit, a touch of floral, violet scenting, bacon fat, mineral, the fruit pure. The palate is cool on debut, runs with straight purpose, is a wine of precision, restraint, not especially defined for now. Its dark red fruit is neat, can emerge further. For now, it’s a frame that needs filling, is gentle, rather stewed. Drink 2025 - 2045. 4*
