Gorgeous bright scarlet shade in the glass; red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with a hint of creme de framboise and something like rhubarb... The palate is fresh and savoury, delicate red cherry framed by a mineral smoky character. Finishes with the merest hint of tannin, but this is remarkably light and bright for Xinomavro. Deliciously moreish, would be ideal lightly chilled on a warm day. (JH 10/08/23)
