Produced from the Rossese grape, known as Tibouren in Provence, from terraced vineyards in Liguria - a local speciaity of which relatively little makes its way into the wider world. Terre Bianche have been custodians of their steep, rocky vineyards since 1870; this red shows bright raspbery and red cherry fruit on the aromas, and the same, albeit with a delectable savoury edge, on the palate. Super-delicate, yet quite substantial in terms of flavour; elegant and food friendly. An excellent candidate for summer lunches. (JH 04/08/22)
