The Roger Sabon Cotes du Rhone is a lovely wine from one of our favourite Chateauneuf-du-Pape producers. It is mostly made with Grenache with a little Syrah and Cinsault to complete the blend. Because the farming isn`t reliant on chemicals it is made using natural yeasts in mostly concrete vats and stainless steel, both of which help retain freshness and allow the rather gorgeous fruit to show. Really good and a bit of a bargain these days. (CW 30/10/19)
