The 2012 Feytit-Clinet is one of the more massive, structured Pomerols of the year. Inky dark fruit, creme de cassis, violets, mint, sage, chocolate, lavender, smoke and tobacco fill out the wine`s ample, large-scaled frame with aplomb. There is no shortage of power or intensity. The only question is how long the tannins will need to soften. Today, the Feytit-Clinet is a bruiser. But that doesn`t stop it from being both compelling and drop-dead gorgeous. I have been deeply impressed with what I have tasted from proprietor Jeremy Chasseuil over the last few years. 94 points
