Barton Jones Wines is situated in the Geographe region of the southern part of Western Australia. The 2012 Top Drawer Cabernet Sauvignon also includes a dollop of Margaret River Shiraz for balance and complexity. It has a couple of years in cask, followed by two years in bottle at the winery prior to release. The wines has the pepper that both varieties can give, which subtly seasons the ripe blackberry fruit. (CW 20/09/16)
