Robert Parker
I don’t believe I have ever tasted a better d’Angludet than this 2005. It reveals an inky/black/purple hue as well as an explosive bouquet of road tar, blackberries, cassis, underbrush, and forest floor characteristics. Medium to full-bodied with sweet tannin, copious glycerin, and a heady finish, it is a sumptuous, atypically forward 2005 to consume during its first 12-15 years of life. 90-92 points
