Mora&Memo

Wedged between mountain peaks and the Gulf of Cagliari, Mora&Memo lies among the hillside vineyards of south-eastern Sardinia. The limestone soils here are great for winemaking. Sea airs mitigate winter and refresh summer nights; the Mistral wind is constantly on the move. Mora&Memo was founded in 2013 by Elisabetta Pala. She cultivates mainly Cannonau (the local expression of Grenache) and Vermentino, from mature vines averaging 30 years of age. Her cellar philosophy is very much a light touch, resulting in elegant, vibrant and mineral wines. (NT 12/09/23)
