Palacio de Fefinanes

Native to Galicia in Spain’s verdant north-west, Albarino is an aromatic, high-quality variety that flourishes in the coastal river valleys of the Rias Baixas. Many of the purest come from the very north of the area in the Val do Salnes; it is here that Palacio de Fefinanes is located, in a renaissance palace in the town of Cambados. They are the oldest producer in the area, and were the first to bottle Albariño back in 1928. For many, they remain the best. (NT 09/08/23)
