They were childhood friends but Marc Josten and Torsten Klein were reunited at the nearby co-op (a highly regarded one in Germany) where they were working as newly minted winemakers. Neither is corporate-minded and it was an obvious decision for them to join forces and make their favourite wines; these being Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. They are based in the Ahr so Pinot vineyards were easy to find but their white wines come from around 50 kilometers away. These guys are well worth watching as their business develops. They are creative and energetic and full of ideas. We fully expect their exciting range of wines to expand. (CW 20/08/18)
