Just under 20% wood. Pale lemon colour. The bouquet is softer and fleshier than the left bank wines but that is typical. Some light peach overtones though not as exaggerated as in 2019 for this cru. Definitely peachy on the palate though rinsed with ripe lemons. Medium to full bodied, enjoy this in its style but not as a shellfish Chablis. Drink from 2026-2032. 90-92 points

The 2022 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet, and the 25% older oak utilized during its élevage is seamlessly integrated. The palate is taut and citrus from the off, quite saline, with grapefruit and melon hints surfacing towards the persistent finish. It coheres very nicely in the glass and has great potential. One of the best examples from this noble vineyard. 92-94 points
