From a single parcel of Pinot Noir, 870 clone. This is their only Blanc de Noirs and apparently this style works better in cooler vintages. No oak. Very small quantity produced. To be released late 2022.

The 2019 Brut Blanc de Noirs, a pure Pinot Noir, spent 30 months on lees and marks the inaugural Pinot Noir release for this estate. A gentle fragrance of red apple flesh freshness plays on the nose, promising creamy pleasure. The palate reveals a beautiful sense of saltiness on tart, juicy red apple flesh, accentuated by tiny creamy bubbles. All of this is contained, taut, tightly coiled and understated. This wonderfully poised and elegant Pinot Noir is juicy and subtle now but will blossom with a little more bottle age. (Lot: L1914117) 93 points

This could actually be sold as a (very pale) rose. Fairly rich nose. Really mouth-filling. Round and orangey and super-clean. Complete. Very much a gastro-wine. Just lovely already and reaches every nook and cranny on the palate. 18 points
