This wine behaves exactly like a Barbaresco/Barolo should. Luca Roagna`s 2012 Langhe Rosso has a very pale colour and a subtle, perfumed nose. on the palate it`s sweet and salt, quite lean and grown up and very mineral. Now this wine is a bit of a Q-ship: essentially a Cru Barolo and Barbaresco blend with a little splash of Dolcetto, but otherwise entirely Nebbiolo. If you have never tried it then you must.
