Stephen Tanzer
Good deep red. Explosive aromas of black cherry, black cardamom, licorice, minerals and crushed stone, all lifted by a piquant suggestion of blood orange. Imploded, palate-saturating wine with outstanding depth and energy. Conveys the power of Musigny without any impression of weight. Perhaps most impressive today on the back end, which features insidious saline minerality, outstanding thrust and length, and noble tannins. Leaves the taste buds quivering. Along with Jadot`s Clos de Beze, one of the standouts of the vintage. 95+ points
