Gifts ordered from our Bishopsgate Shop for delivery in central London can be gift-packaged with your own message card enclosed. Most of our Champagnes are individually gift-boxed. For delivery further afield goods will be wrapped in courier-safe packaging. Email or phone us if you require further information.

Gifts ordered from our Internet Store will be sent in original boxes or our own packing boxes. Messages will only be printed on the delivery note; please enter in the delivery instructions on the Delivery Details page. We regret that we are unable to enclose gift cards or to gift-pack.

For corporate incentives or personal gifts, there are times when it is more appropriate to give a voucher than try to select a bottle or selection yourself, when you might not even know who will receive the gift. For callers to the Bishopsgate Shop only, we are delighted to offer personalised gift certificates for whatever amount you choose.

Unlike John Lewis we don’t just have a shortlist of the most popular towels and toasters. You tell us the kind of wines you like and we will fit your wishes to the budgets of your friends and family. There is a revival of the noble tradition of buying wines to lay down in professional storage for infants. Most wines worthy of aging from any given year aren’t for sale for at least a year afterwards, saving Bordeaux which is available to buy en primeur the year following the harvest. We can advise on what to buy within a given budget, arrange storage, and open an account in the recipient’s name. As the wine is still in barrel at this stage, we can issue a stock certificate and the whereabouts of the wine can be checked at any time by logging in to Your Account. Rather than scratch around looking for wines of doubtful provenance from specific and often less than stellar vintages, we prefer to offer Armagnacs which are long-aged, characterful, complex, distinctive and, in most cases, will last more than one evening!
