Rebecca Gibb MW
The 2020 Le Grand Clos offers up a sense of richness with gourmand tannins that provide a gentle hug, coating the palate with their abundance and roundness. There`s a generosity and openness here with its supple, round mouthfeel, a reflection of the clay-flint soils on a gentle slope in Bourgueil. Expect deep flavors of black cherries, a touch of cassis and a slight whiff of vanilla from the new oak (maturation in amphora, oak barrel and 500-liter oak). 92 points
