A previously abandoned vineyard in an ideal location in Priorat, planted to old-vine Carinyena (Carignan) and Garnatxa (Grenache). Deep, warming aromas, subtle spice nestled amongst blackberry and plum fruit. The palate is rounded and expressive, creamy from barrel influence with a gravelly undertow on the finish. Dense, ripe tannins frame the palate. Decanting is highly recommended; this wine will age very gracefully indeed. (JH 09/08/2024)
