The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Embrazees 1er Cru has a pretty nose with peach skin and freshly sliced pears. It`s a little oaky now, though it is proportionate to the fruit concentration. The palate is well-balanced with a zippy acidity that cuts through concentrated yellow fruit. Harmonious with a decent backbone, this exerts a commendable grip with plenty of freshness and animation on the finish. This should age well in bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. Drink 2024-2040. 93 points
