The two current generations running Furst are stewards of some of Franconia`s best terroirs. This Pinot Noir comes from just below one of them, the Centgrafenberg hill. For an entry level wine it provides loads of class and finesse, but lacks nothing in terms of intensity. It has minerality and fruit and is a very sophisticated wine indeed. Grown up wine, you might say. Keep a close eye out for when we are lucky enough to secure some of their more senior reds, as well as their super dry whites. (CW 28/03/14)
