Marinella Carmerani owns Adalia as well as Corte Sant’Alda and it is her intention that Adalia will produce authentic but more affordable wines. Adalia is run by her daughter and the ladybird on the label is an essential part of their sustainable model. The Amarone and Recioto are both made by partially drying the grapes for four months prior to fermentation. Training is traditional pergola and the result is delicious and rich. (CW 25/01/16)
