rents these vines - and those of Montceau and Trezin from his cousin. Cool blueberry fruit on nose, little fleshier, fine structure and tannins. Very restrained but all there, very good and going to be good value too. (CW 26/10/11)

Allen Meadows
(a climat of Sur Gamay). This is more deeply pitched still with a moderately somber nose of plum, earth, underbrush and wet stone. There is good volume and richness to the sappy and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess relatively firm tannins that support and shape the balanced, intense and lingering finish. This is lovely with good energy. Drink 2015+ 89 points
