A totally different wine to the standard Sancerre. The nose is rich, passion fruit curd, and it`s very spicy - sweet spices - in the mouth. Definitely some oak in the making of this. It`s concentrated, full bodied and weighty, a strong statement and without doubt impressive. But not for anyone looking for the elegance and freshness of classic Sancerre. 16.5 points
