Stunning white Hermitage at its zenith - burnished bronze in colour, with rich, peachy fruit, leaf-litter complexity and something smoky on the finish. A rare opportunity to sample a mature white wine of this calibre. (JH 28/03/23)

Sorrel`s flagship white is the Hermitage Les Rocoules. The outstanding 2004 (225 cases produced) tips the scales at 14.5% alcohol. Deep, sweet citrus oil notes intermixed with hints of stones and flowers emerge from this full-bodied, rich, impressive white. It should drink well for 10-15 years. Drink 2006-2021. 91-93 points
