A family of wine-growers on this site since 1691, the Triebaumers are incredibly attached to the land. They are terroiristes, and want to produce wines that reflect both vintage and soil. They are red wine makers in the majority, but the offerings here so far are from their whites, and what amazing value these guys give us. Their healthy, mixed farm is husbanded with great care and dedication, and this extends to solar energy that provides almost all the firm`s electricity and a traditional form of carbon capture that makes them almost carbon negative. This way of thinking stems from their wine-growing practice, not the other way round. (CW 26/06/12)
