New monthly billing (A UK merchant first?)

Most wine merchants bill storage in advance based on what's in the warehouse at the beginning of their billing period. Not Uncorked. For many years we've billed only at the end of our storage period and now, by popular request, we're making things even fairer. Providing the final adjustments to our algorithms work, next week we shall be issuing storage invoices which reflect both the volume of stock and the number of calendar months in storage since last August. To smooth the transition, only stock in storage as we print the invoices will be billed, though in future anything in storage for 3 months or longer during our August to July storage year will be billed at the July year end. So here's advance warning: from next month, in order to avoid storage charges, stock will need to be collected or delivered within 3 months of the date of availability in the UK. We shall be doing regular sweeps of the warehouse so that charges are avoided where possible - please make sure we have your delivery or storage instructions.
Storage rates August 2012 - July 2013 per 9 litre case
Volume rate: 75 pence a month for 20 cases+
Standard rate: 80 pence a month for 5 to 19 cases
Starter rate: £1 a month for fewer than 5 cases
(No charge if location marked as “Abroad”)
