Here you have it - the next round of the Uncorked mixed cases. To reiterate what we told you last month, the £150 case and the £200 case are compilations of what we feel to be the best wines for the money, drinking well at the moment. The third case is made up of our current Staff Selections - a compendium of what we're drinking right now, wines we stand behind and will defend to the last breath should you disagree with us - and quite a versatile bunch of wines we have this month. The theme of our fourth case this month is the southern Rhone, home of Grenache (don't tell the Spanish) and a bunch of other kooky blending grapes. The mixed case below is a wonderful representation of the top villages, styles and producers. Crunchy red fruit and plenty of structure, there are wines of vibrant freshness as well as powerful colossi; traditional growers mingling with polished modernists. A ready made warm-up to the inimitable region for a steal.
