The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras 1er Cru is just beginning to rev its motors and probably stands as one of Christophe Roumier`s crowning achievements from this vineyard. It needs little encouragement to unfold in the glass with copious Morello cherries, bergamot and crushed stone scents, just a faint touch of Earl Grey. The palate is beautifully defined with beguiling symmetry, brimming with energy and exuding mineralite and breeding on the finish. A bit of a temptress. Tasted at Cave de Madeleine restaurant in Beaune. 95 points
