The 2018 Brut Rosé blends 80% chalk-grown Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from the estate`s Meadow Woods vineyard. The wine spent 36 months on lees, avoiding malolactic conversion. Smooth creaminess on the nose aligns with mellow red apple flesh and an aromatic highlight of rosehip tisane. The fine mousse is creamy, while beautifully ripe acidity is surrounded by the fragrance of juicy redcurrant. A balanced, elegant array of English summer pudding flavors is enticingly tart and juicily ripe at the same time, with a lasting smooth fragrant finish that shows off the purity of the fruit. Really very round but with perfume. Broad and not too high in acidity. 16.5 points
