Richard Hemming
Sweeter, riper fruit than the 2013 Brut Reserve. Quite austere in some ways – the fruit is tart and piqued, but has a wonderful compact intensity on the palate. This is great candidate for ageing – and with time in the glass, the flavour range is becoming more and more expressive with toast, salt and smoke. Still needs time in bottle to evolve. 17+ points
