With a highly expressive Chardonnay character there is no doubt at all that this is a Blanc de Blancs. The burning acidity (think of the cold of an English vineyard, shivering in the sea air coming in from over Romney Marsh) makes this a great food wine, an almost perfect match with fish and chips. Gusbourne make some of the very finest English sparkling wines there are and we love them to bits. (NT 09/02/18)
