Antonio Galloni
La Rasina`s 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is one of the darker, racier wines of the dark (sic). Black cherries, plums, mocha, spices, new oak, new leather and licorice are all laced together in a ripe, voluptuous Brunello loaded with near term appeal. Forward and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2010 is already quite delicious. This is a terrific vintage for La Rasina, with plenty of the estate`s signatures on full display. 93 points
