Delightful, lifted aromas of orange blossom and citrus peel inform the bouquet. From down in the south of Burgundy you might expect a riper style, but au contraire, the wines of Francois Lumpp are usually on the pretty, delicate side. The good Mr Lumpp has some top terroir and is definitely the best winemaker in Givry. Plenty of tension in the mouth, and utterly delicious. (NT 02/09/16)
