This is a blend of Semillon - more associated with Bordeaux and giving a little weight and zest - and Vermentino, aka Rolle, a purely western Mediterranean variety. together they make something nicely fullish bodied, with citrus oil notes and a refreshing spritz and zing. This is a very good and versatile white with sophisticated flavours and a long and elegant finish. (CW 15/07/14)
