2011 Michel Lafarge Cote de Beaune-Villages

From one of the top (biodynamic) producers in Volnay, these vines are sited near Meursault, an area more famous for reds than here. The fruit is red, the tannins fine and there is plenty of matter here despite the pale colour. All in a delicious, fleshy but delicate Pinot. (CW 05/06/14)
