Neal Martin
The renamed second wine (hitherto "Clos de Canon") is a blend of 28% Cabernet Franc and 72% Merlot raised in 20% new oak. It has a light bouquet with touches of orange rind infusing the bright red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine prickle on the entry. This is well balanced and feels natural in the mouth, whilst the savoury tang on the finish is delightful. This is a commendable second wine for the vintage. Tasted April 2014. 90-92 points
James Suckling
A delicate, refined young red with a seductive, fresh character. Medium to full body with lovely subtle tangerine peel and a very fine, silky texture. Bright acidity. Elegant.91-92 points
