Zesty citrus aromas, with a touch of brioche - candied lemon and raisin notes are the only indications of the higher dosage. The palate is similarly crisp; this demi-sec does not lean in to the richness of the style, offering a wine for champagne drinkers with a sweet tooth rather than a dessert-champagne. Finishes with a dose of ripe fruit, still very fresh and well-balanced. (JH 07/12/2021)

The NV Carte Blanche (243rd Blend) is a fabulous example of this style of higher-dosage Champagne. Green apple, mint, jasmine and lime all grace this mid-weight, wonderfully charming offering. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years. Dosage is 38 grams per litre. 92 points
