Fun and frothy like all Proseccos should be, this one is outstanding because it is slightly drier than many and more mineral than most. Still a great alternative to Champagne and because it is in no way an imitator of the most famous fizz, doesn`t have to bear comparison with Champagne. Many wines, like Cava, for instance do, and suffer for it. Light, clean, fizzy and bringing great cheer when it arrives, this dry, fruity Prosecco is a brilliant aperitif. (CW 27/7/09)
