Jean-Marc Quarin
The historical Médoc Outsider that Bordeaux connoisseurs are beginning to snap up! Very fruity, fleshy, vigorous without harsh tannins and long. Since 2011 its tannins have been increasingly finer. Rivals the best Médoc Crus Classés. 92 points

The Clos Manou 2014 is a blend of 52% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. It has an elegant, refined bouquet, with the 70% new oak deftly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannin, crisp and quite minerally black fruit with a ripe and generous finish. There is a nice symmetry here. Excellent. 89-91 points
