Robert Parker
The 2011 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast offers up attractive aromas of red apple skins, plums, wild strawberries and a hint of wild cherries. There is a Pommard-like character to this wine, which exhibits good, but not intrusive acidity, medium body and attractive flavors that build incrementally into a complex, stylish, European-styled Pinot. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. 88 points

(made from fruit grown in 6 different vineyards): Vivid red. Highly perfumed aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, fresh rose, white pepper and allspice. Silky and seamless on the palate, offering flavors of fresh red berries, orange zest and Asian spices. An elegant, immediately appealing pinot that should be enjoyed over the next few years. 90 points
