2006 La Tour de By (Medoc)

This is certainly one of the best wines that I have tasted from La Tour de By. A simple, cedar and blackberry leaf nose that is lacking a little fruit concentration. But the palate has a firm structure, good extraction and acidity with a touch of dark chocolate lacing the ripe black fruits. Delicate, elegant finish that does not try anything too ambitious, the result being a delicious, unpretentious wine to relish. Recommended. 87-89 points
