Eric Guido
The 2019 Sauvignon Zitelle is youthfully restrained at first, requiring a bit of coaxing to release its rich and opulent bouquet full of ripe peach and chalky minerals offset by tropical citrus. This shows glycerol-like textures, giving way to a dense display of ripe orchard fruits and sweet spice. For all of its weight, the 2019 maintains perfect balance, guided by salty acids and becoming quite floral through the finale, where notes of zesty sour lemon puckers the cheeks and punctuates the expression perfectly. 93 points
