Tina Gellie
A really inviting, bright Chardonnay at an excellent price, from vines planted in 2000, 15km from ocean. Forward aromas of peach and pear juice and a yeasty tang continue on the round, concentrated palate, which has a broad nutty mouthfeel, well-integrated gentle oak spicing and a long, creamy finish. 92 points

The nose of the 2018 Single Vineyard Taylors Pass Chardonnay artfully combines hints of toast, grilled sweet corn and ripe peaches. It was a warm vintage, and the wine shows less acidity than most other vintages, with a round lushness to the mouthfeel that makes it dangerously easy to drink. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years. 91 points
