Antonio Galloni
The 2018 Zinfandel Fredericks Vineyard is a pretty wine, but it is also one of the more unsettled wines in this range. I have no doubt it will come together, but today, it is a bit awkward. The depth and persistence are there, but some of the detail is obscured by recent blending of the three lots that make up this wine. 92-94 points

The 2018 Zinfandel Fredericks Vineyard has a medium to deep ruby-purple color. It offers slowly unfolding aromas of tar, apricot, aniseed and earth. The palate is medium-bodied with a grainy, fresh frame and understated fruits, finishing softly. 92 points
