‘A little luxury for everyday’. Aiming for early drinking but can hold. 100% Garganega. They taste all grapes of each plot to determine picking. Six-hour skin contact. Oxidative handling pre-fermentation, so no sulphites added, to reduce any touches of greenness. Stainless steel and on lees without stirring for a few months before bottling. No MLF in 2018, but varies by vintage. Pale lemon. Clean and rich pear, ripe yellow apple and some camomile. Smoky tones and almond nut. Gentle sage and some apple blossom aromatics. Hint of sweetness in the entry, then smoky, flinty notes and fairly brisk acidity, followed by blanched almond and ripe apple. Salty tang. Medium-long. 16 points
