In many areas of Greece 2018 was a catastrophic year in terms of human loss and wildfires. It was a very dry and warm year overall with a lot of high and warm winds so in wine terms yields were down and the resulting grapes small and concentrated. This 2018 Notios from Gaia conforms to that mould with concentrated fruit and acidity. Delicious with a faint saline lick on the finish. (CW 30/07/19)
