Very classically Cornas - wild, animalistic, earthy. Aromas of raw lamb, bramble, cranberry, black cherry and all-spice. The palate is a little more composed, dominated by red and black berry fruit, finishing with kirsch and ripe tannic grip. Not yet in its ideal drinking window, but very promising, and already enjoyable. (JH 28/11/2021)

Opaque ruby. Intense aromas of cassis, black raspberry, olive and star anise are complemented by a smoky mineral topnote and a touch of smoky bacon. Chewy and subtly sweet, offering lively dark berry preserve, floral pastille and licorice flavors and a spicy jolt of black pepper. Finishes very long and spicy, with fine-grained tannins and a building cherry note. 93-94 points
