Jasper Morris MW
Also from 60 year old vines With 35% whole bunch. Full purple colour with a light nose at first. Densely concentrated with a few tannins behind. Very pure with an attractive tingle, more red fruit than black, leading to a juicy finish behind with some well balanced tannins and excellent length. 91-94 points

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Carrières 1er Cru has a backward, almost surly bouquet at the moment, featuring dark berry fruit, hints of licorice and cedar notes. The medium-bodied palate offers sappy red fruit, quite succulent and fleshy, with blueberry, black currant and a light sprinkling of white pepper on the finish. Good persistence here. Impressive. 92-94 points

Overt, creamy oak, with perfumed red fruit. Fine, pretty firm tannins, but lots of classic Chambolle perfumed elegance. Fairly long, flinty finish. 16.5 points
