Apricot, lime, and bunches of blossom; the bouquet is very floral here. Still fairly taut in the mouth, clean and pure, then a little butter and orange on the finish. Quite delightful. (NT 08/01/20)

Clear paler colour with a more backward nose, on the limestone with less immediate fruit. The wine starts with a fine concentration of fruit then becomes more straitlaced. There is significant power at the back but less personality. 91-93 points

Bursting with aromas of ripe citrus, pear and mint that are framed by a deft touch of oak, Moreau`s 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie is medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and precise. Racier than the more enveloping Chenevottes, it`s also more tender and charming than the incisive Vergers. 91-93 points

Much tighter on the nose than the Chenevottes. Plenty of citrus but more mineral in aroma. The merest hint of spice. Tight and yet with a lovely creamy texture. Great precision allied to generosity. A lovely citrus mouth-watering finish. Pulls in on the finish with precision and freshness. Juicy and intense at the same time. 17+ points
